It was very central and close to the beach. Also the staff were good.
I have stayed in many a hotel in many a country and never have I had to clean up after myself after breakfast! This is not a hotel and should not be advertising itself as such. On the website it said each room is equipped with a kitchenette but this is not the case. No aircon meant we had to keep the windows open at night therefore it was very noisy. However the staff were friendly and helpful but I certainly would not recommend the Meyerbeer to anyone. I have to mention I found a hole in the wall in the bedroom and it was patched up with a sanitary towel box!! Hello.... I rest my case.

The location of the hotel is amazing. Literally a 2min walk to the beach, and a 5-10min walk to the shops and many restaurants. Also only a 10-15min walk from the station (with packs on). The staff were incredibly friendly, all spoke english and were all willing to help us out with whatever we needed- which we really appreciated. The room itself had a fan to help with the heat (which it really did) and double glazed windows to help with the 'night noise', again, which really helped. The linen was clean and the rooms made up each day. Also very safe entry, as you need a security code to get in. Free internet access (including wifi in rooms as well as public computers) made a real difference as well. We enjoyed our stay.
I'm a bit of a 'stickler' when it comes to cleanliness, so perhaps other readers won't be as picky as me, but the bathroom could have done with a good scrub. It was clean enough & the towels were fresh, but the bottom of the shower curtain looked like it was going mouldy- from excess steam/water. (A small fan in there might help). The carpet looked a little grubby & could use replacing- and the windows needed a clean. The kitchenette probably was able to be used- but we didn't trust it, plus the fridge wasn't working- so don't bank on it being there to save cash on food. But nothing major really. Still totally fine, and I would still recommend the hotel to those that aren't very picky. I have stayed in better hotels for less $$ though.

50 m from the sea, the staff was excellent
The noisy students from Great Britain. We can`t sleep up to 2 a.m. every day, because they were shouting and drinking at the reception. And all six rooms of the Hotel are close to reception.

As a traveler looking to explore the city, Meyerbeer Beach was the perfect choice for my stay. The staff was incredibly helpful and provided great advice on local attractions. The location served as a convenient base to explore from. The breakfast place next door was a delightful surprise, and I suggest offering a special breakfast plate for hostel guests. The hostel provided a well-equipped kitchen and social area, where I met interesting fellow travelers. Plus, there was a grocery store right next door. The bus stop for the airport bus was conveniently located along the nearby promenade.
Would recommend this hotel.

I stayed in a private room and was excited to see it was like a hotel room at backpacker prices. Very impressed and would definitely stay again.
As my room was quite close to reception, it was a bit noisy but not enough that I wouldnt stay.

I stayed at this hostel in Nice for a short trip and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and provided me with all the information I needed to explore the area. The hostel itself was clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect - just a quick walk to the beach and easy access to all the tourist attractions. I also had the opportunity to meet some amazing people from different countries and enjoy a delicious group dinner cooked by fellow guests. It truly felt like a home away from home.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. There was a relaxed atmosphere.
The lift was out of service, which was a problem for those travelling with suitcases. The decor was "tired" and the corridors were cluttered. The lounge was tiny and very cramped.
